I'm going to a do tomorrow evening.
Have fab cherry red satin shift dress.skyscraper pewter sandals.
Have manicure booked tomorrow morning but can't decide what colour to go.
Normally go v dark but is that a bit wintry?
French seems classic, classy but bit boring?
Have a grey by Revlon but just doesnt look right.

Views please.

I'd go with red. You can't go wrong with red!

I think French would be a bit....meh with a foxy red dress.

Sleepwhenidie · 22/06/2012 22:26

I'd go pewter for nails too, red usually great but not with a red dress. French lovely but i agree, a bit meh for the outfit you describe. Short dark grey nails will look much cooler and match your shoes.

Drywhiteplease · 22/06/2012 22:34

Pewter sounds good.....will take my shoes with me tomorrow.

Ask them

Sleepwhenidie · 22/06/2012 23:04

Essie Over The Top... perfect

Trills · 22/06/2012 23:08

What is pewter? Is it shiny grey? Yes, get silvery nails.

Springforward · 22/06/2012 23:33

I'd match the shoes or the dress, personally, but probably the dress.

Drywhiteplease · 22/06/2012 23:40

sleep I love that...but they use Jessica so will see if they have an equivalent.

Coquette is a silvery grey by Jessica.

ravencathy · 23/06/2012 00:49

I would go with a very strong red.

MadAboutHotChoc · 23/06/2012 09:04

Pewter - I have some from Barry M and I love it.

Drywhiteplease · 23/06/2012 12:28

Unless you can absolutely match the red of the dress I would go pewter, or a camel/caramel might look good.

Have fun!

SoSoMamanBebe · 23/06/2012 14:18

NOT french! I like suburban's idea or a classic rouge noir as it always looks sophisticated to me (on short nails).
