african black soap??

hi people, just wanted to know if anyones ever used african black soap? am considering buying it as ive heard its fantastic with clearing skin and stretch marks though can burn.

I did end up getting some and ive recently ordered the liquid version. i love it and think it will be a staple product. i found on amazon selling black soap for hair and skin in lavendar, orange and other scents. am tempted to buy, would it be ok to use on my kids hair and skin or is it abit too strong? my kids are mixed caribbean, have dryer hair than myself and curls and can get dry skin
