Agh! Help! Huge spot brewing on chin and a big date on Saturday. What to do?

At the moment there is no head to speak of - it is just a big red lump on my face. Right between my mouth and my jawline and out towards the cheek, where the skin is palest and concealer the most noticeable.

How can I get rid of it before Saturday night please?

I've been using a cream from La Roche Posay on spots lately and have been pretty impressed. Its called Effaclar AI Targeted Breakout Corrector. I put it on morning and evening on pimples and old scars and its been working wonders...

Oooh yes I've heard Lisa Eldridge say good things about La Roche Posay. Will have to give that a try. In the meantime I'm not sure what to do. This potential spot doesn't seem to know where it's heading. It doesn't feel sore or bruised as they often do when the pore is really infected, but the redness covers quite a large area and it's slightly swollen. This is just bloody typical right before I need to look my best.

Witchstick - the solid witch Hazel stick - is pretty good

Water as hot as you can bear on cotton wool, press it to spot. It stings but seems to kill it off really quickly.

It'll go by then. Def. I call
Those "subterraneans"

Witch hazel

AnnaMosity · 21/06/2012 20:36

Or dab tea tree oil

I've been using TCP and the Neutrogena visibly clear spot treatment today. Also Dermalogica overnight clearing gel at night.

Grin at "subterraneans" Anna

origins spot remover is excellent. If you're in a hurry try toothpaste on it overnight? drink plenty of water
and enjoy the date Smile

Loveleopardprint · 21/06/2012 21:15

Might sound mad but put a blob of toothpaste on it and leave over night. Don't forget to wash it off in the morning!!

Flash some cleavage and he won't even notice your chin.
