waxing - difference between home and salon

I keep thinking about getting my foof waxed. I usually shave because in the past ive got loads of spots after trying epilating and home waxing.
Is it just likely that my skin doesnt like it and id get the same reaction from a professional wax?
I have mild KP on my legs if that makes any diff x

You home wax in that particular area?! Shock Ouchy! Having it done by a pro is so much more comfortable. The spots disappear after about 3 days.

I home wax too - it helps if you exfoliate lightly first, then wax, then apply some tea-tree oil (a few drops in a carrier oil like almond for instance) - this is antibacterial/anti-fungal and reduces the chances of spots and in-grown hair (don't get it inside your foof though!)

Of course the least hassle/pain is to get it done professionally. Some salons use a tea-tree wax which is great for same reasons as above.
