Hi,

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good brand? I'm looking out for some and I would like to get something semi decent.

Thanks

I have quite oily skin and absolutely love Nivea tinted moisturiser. It's really cheap too. I also like that Garnier BB stuff.

I use Bodyshop Vitamin E tinted which works well with a light powder in winter and slighter darker shade in summer. I've tried Garnier BB cream (looked crappy and sweated off easily) and No7 - also not the best. I always seem to go back to Bodyshop Grin

Liz Earle.

I adore the no7 bb cream for oily skin. I dont wear make up, and this is just perfect. and £5off voucher at the mo, too.

Loving Oil of Ulay Seven Signs with a hint of foundation. Comes in a pump dispenser - very natural and feels lovely.

Cartoonjane · 20/06/2012 17:33

The Bobbi Brown one in a screw lid pot is lovely.

Laura Mercier is fab.

For slightly heavier coverage, Liz Earle, but to my mind hers is more like a light foundation than a TM.

coansha · 20/06/2012 20:04

Liz Earle but as mentioned is not light, half foundation really but lovely on.

TribbleWithoutACause · 21/06/2012 20:14

How pale is the Liz Earle one? I'm really pale, I look like a ghost half the time.

Another vote for Olay SS of ageing. Cheap as chips and lovely light coverage. I have fair skin and use the Fair version.

HilaryM · 21/06/2012 20:19

The Liz Earle palest colour is v pale indeed - like me

SarahJinx · 21/06/2012 20:19

Estee Lauder and Laura Mercier = Gorge. Also clinique moisure surge is nice.

jalopy · 21/06/2012 20:20

Tribble, if you go to John Lewis, they have a Liz Earle skin tint samples counter where you can try out the different shades.

TribbleWithoutACause · 21/06/2012 20:42

Jalopy I'm nowhere near a John Lewis, do you reckon if I rang them they would be able to help. I use Liz Earle cleanse and polish so buy online anyway. I'm about due for another bottle.

Ring the liz Earle shop in the Isle of wight they'd probably send you samples. I'm medium in Liz Earle but pale in almost all other brands so I would say the light was pretty fair.

Just a warning the first time i put it on I was disappointed and thought it looked that oily. Went downstairs to find some powder to matt it down and by the times I'd got down there and looked in teh mirror, it looked perfect so I'd give it a few minutes to settle after applying

Lancome Hydra Zen works very well for me
