Nine West Sizing Help

I am just about to order a pair of Nine West shoes and I have checked the 2 pairs I have for size and one is a 7W and one a 8W...the 8 is a strappy sandle and the 7 is a closed heel and toe...

Now I am unsure which to order....how does their sizing work? I am temped to go with 7 as similar style to old shoe

I am usually a UK 5

Meant to say...when looking to order they are in UK sizes and I am definitely not a 7/8 [hmmm]

I've bought a couple of pairs of Nine West shoes online recently and I am normally a size 8. I had to send back the 8s and get 7s instead (there were strappy sandals).

I used to work for shoe studio while at uni and they are American sizes. 7 is uk 5 and 8 uk 6 etc unless they've changed in last few years. Also they are big fitting and I would always get a uk 5 when I'm usually a uk 6.
