Birko-Flor or natural leather?

I always always wear leather shoes so would I be disappointed if I bought Birko-Flor?

I have a pair of Birkinstocks with a synthetic upper - with wear they form hard tufts on the side close to my skin and have to be removed periodically or they make my feet sore but I have very soft sensitive skin, so you might not notice it so much - they look fine and have lasted well but my next pair will be leather.

I had a small suspicion I might be going with leather...
