There we go!

OP posts:

Morning I am still in bed Blush

Your DD sounds so sweet Decameron I love watching them sleep.

Good luck with the house hopefully. Renting is so fast paced very exciting. Wood burner and studio sound incredible.

Your legs look endless in the majors MrsCB. I struggle to take photos too, if only I had a fabulous photographer boyfriend like Wendy...

Had better get up now, happy Saturdays...

FritziGreenEyes · 23/06/2012 08:15

Still in bed too with a lovely cup of tea. DD has been painting since 7 Smile

red Fabulous dress, no need to buy new accessories. You will look stunning. Agree with pickled. Loved your hairstyle at first MU.

MarshaBrady · 23/06/2012 08:21

Aww. Ds2 is looking especially cute this morning. Little sausage.

I'm tempted to go to Matches today. Will make me regret the £8. But I suppose it's best to try at home. Actually dh is quite handy for a yes or a no.

pickledsiblings · 23/06/2012 08:31

Hopefully, best of luck with the house.

Marsha, the jeans will look fab on you I'm sure and will work with a chunky knit.

Have great Saturdays everybody Smile.

blossoming · 23/06/2012 08:51

Morning all! My DS set his alarm for 5.30 this morning to watch Wales' last rugby match down under. We lost again, by a very small margin. I try to tell him what it used to be like, and at least we're playing in the same league now, but he was despondent ... oh hold on, was that Dh.. Wink
Have a safe drive hopefully, and hope it works out for you. So exciting.
We're going mountain biking. My new top from SB is really flattering for a cycling top, with capped sleeves. Really want to wear it, but the showers are really heavy, and I shall be in my usual waterproofs. I think we've had 3 nice biking days since we started going in October. Am fed up.
Have ordered two vests to go with the new j brand leggings. I searched high and low, high end and low end, and ended up ordering 2 from Jigsaw. Not too optimistic, but there is relatively few about that aren't too sheer or too loose. If the black one works, but is very long, I'll hem it I think. this one and this one. We'll see.
Hope you all have nice days, back later.

MidnightinMoscow · 23/06/2012 09:41

Best of luck Hopefully.

Poor DH, Bloss. Smile

Sympathy to all the ultra early risers.

Having a good outfit day today, which is always cheering. Red JBrands, Zara grey linen tee, cropped denim jacket, black topshop hasbeen-like sandals and a big leopard print scarf.

I wish all my outfits worked like this.

Fleecy · 23/06/2012 10:02

Thanks for the Milan tips choo - nice to see you on here again of late. Have been reading the blog and see that lots of you have the £13 Primark jeans - I have them too and wear with navy and green mainly. Also rolled up with Ash Jalouse.

red love your outfit for the wedding. You little stunner!

Like mim I am feeling rather pleased with today's outfit. It's a little bright and OTT for a grey day in Norwich (off to the library - glamour!) but why the hell not? Orange ankle crop skinnies from Zara, cream Tucker silk top (that I never wear for fear of spilling things on it but what's the point of having it if you don't wear it?), orange/pink/sunset colours Lily & Lionel scarf, tan wedges and blue mini Gracie. Hair in a topknot which is okay and not mutton because bloss said so Smile

For those of you who like to stealthily influence your DH/DP's wardrobes, the Mr Porter sale starts on Monday.

FritziGreenEyes · 23/06/2012 10:08

Favourite thing about being class rep: Opportunity to go shopping for teacher's presents. I know there will be raised eyebrows from other parents at my choice (light summer scarf and Essie nail polish) but I hope teachers will appreciate it.

DonaAna · 23/06/2012 10:09

Great outfit MiM! My DH rose ultra early (=5.30) this morning, I got to sleep in...
I'm inspired by the Matches pre-A/W edit. Not in my colors and so expensive that I'm going to buy anything ATM, but if you like classic pieces, they have a fresh take on them:

www.matchesfashion.com/womens/wantitnow

Tried on an Erdem dress in the US. At some point, will try to get a piece in the outlets - love their prints.

Too hot to go out. We are getting tired of 35+ temperatures. Wearing my watermelon Maxmara Weekend dress from Matches (love, love, love it) and nude Castaner espadrilles. Thinking of making a brief pit stop at Dior in Piazza di Spagna. I've fancied one of their boutique perfumes for quite some time now. Will have a houseguest overnight later today so need to get some free and private time before that.

Very much looking toward my Sweaty Betty order. Need some shorts, too hot for my regular evening walk. Wore an old denim skirt instead and ugh, so unflattering, made me feel all self-conscious about how awful I look.

VerityBrulee · 23/06/2012 10:57

Similar glum faces here bloss 60-0. Oh dear.

decameron Shock at your eBay experience. I've often thought of shutting down my account but can't quite bring myself to do it! Hope you have a nice weekend with your dd's.

Beautiful dress dona I had book marked that one in case we got a summer, but not this year it seems.

fritzi I would like to be your dd's teacher Smile

fleecy Love the sound of your outfit. I was just thinking of you as I was looking for my Aldo Netz.

mrsCB those J Brands look fantastic on you. I am notoriously stingy about spending on denim, but may be converted by Majors. I think you look fab in your photos, very polished!

mim would you like to cook professionally? You always sound so enthused by it. career change maybe?

AmberNectarine · 23/06/2012 11:18

Am sitting in the leisure centre cafe sharing a chocolate cookie with DD while she plays with her new favourite toy - a tango man I found for 50p at a car boot sale! Remember them?

Off to MILs today, boo. Am wearing navy maxi skirt from American Apparel, a green snake print vest from Zara which I think ny also has, rose gold Sam Edelman Gigis, my rose gold MK watch and lovely Gracie of course.

Love the sound of all the outfits. I nearly bought a cream Tucker blouse the other day fleecy, but demurred as it would have sat sadly in my wardrobe.

Thanks for Botox info mrsCB, v helpful. I've not yet ruled it out! Loving the blog btw! Your pregnant friend has helpfully alerted me to the Uniqlo/velvet collab, which I will be ordering from. I like velvet a lot as a brand.

Good luck with the house Hopefully.

Hope your evening improved ny!

Decameron · 23/06/2012 12:02

I didn't know that Velvet were collaborating with Uniqlo, must check it out.

I am wearing navy majors, navy quilted ballet shoes and Whistles pink, navy and white top. We have made a morning out of going to the post office and then for croissants. DH is working again, it's getting very tedious.

Lovely dress, DonaAna.

Decameron · 23/06/2012 12:08

Verity, I know, I think I might close my Facebook account (which was hacked once before) and my LinkedIn account (got an email from them recently to say a list of passwords, including mine, were posted on a hacker website).

MarshaBrady · 23/06/2012 12:17

Dh said go to Matches and get something to make up for all client entertaining he's been doing. Being out is always more fun.

Great outfits today. Mine is Jbrand indigo skinnies, tiny floral blouse, red Sandro cardigan, chartreuse Lanvins and of course Celline.

loobylu3 · 23/06/2012 12:42

Todays outfits all sound lovely and those on MrsCB's blog too!
I'm not terribly exciting as dressed in a bit of a hurry to take DCs out to tennis lesson but will probably change into Chinese blue maxi in a little while as we are going to the circus (the same Gap one that the pg lady on 'worn out' has. I assume it is MM who used to post here?). I have kept my maternity wardrobe to a minimum due to limited budget but am getting a little bored of it now and hankering after Summery weather and coloured jeans/ pretty dresses!

Lovely dress red- so pretty!

decam- that hacking sounds v worrying. I have had an email account hacked but fortunately no personal details were taken.

bloss- potential health problems are v worrying but the chances are that your DH is fine. Even if they do pick up a problem, there is so much more that can be done/ tried nowadays.

mrsCB- does your sister have HOCM or something? Hope she is under good care.

Can't see anything re Velvet collaboration the Uniqo website. Can anyone else?

Hopefully · 23/06/2012 13:23

Saw house, it was lovely, phoned estate agents to put rent offer in to be told that someone else has offered already. Despite them telling me that I had the first viewing (which, it turns out, was a complete lie) Angry Angry Angry Angry. Completely failing to feel zen about the wasted seven hours driving and the fact I will have to work half the bloody night to make up for missing the time today. Angry and a bit more Angry

MarshaBrady · 23/06/2012 13:55

Oh Hopefully what a pita. Poor you

In Sandro not sure whether to break my no refund no purchase rule. Nice navy shift on sale

pickledsiblings · 23/06/2012 15:14

Hopefully, that is so wrong on lots of levels. Have you made a formal complaint to the manager? With a bit of luck they will be extra nice to you and let you know when they have something even more suitable coming on to their books.

Marsha, can you email DH a photo of you in the dress for comments before you buy? Sounds like it could be a versatile purchase.

pickledsiblings · 23/06/2012 15:25

MrsCB, I love your look today, not muttony at all. You could even get away with wearing a pair of these for an even more casual vibe.

Fleecy · 23/06/2012 16:10

hopefully not surprised you're Angry - that's bang out of order

verity I love those high tops (and the ones you linked to pickled ) and am I right in thinking you have both colours?

MarshaBrady · 23/06/2012 16:20

Pickled funny you should say that I thought about uploading a pic here then realised it would be a faff.

I didn't get it and glad I didn't as was too smart-ish for me really. Better for a work environment.

Saw some Helmut Lang skinny grey am quite keen on in Liberty but sadly not my size. Am being so restrained even dh was amazed.

Hopefully · 23/06/2012 18:34

Ugh, have stinking headache from all the driving. Back home now, and feeling rather knackered and drained by the whole thing. Just want to be moved and sorted, bored of it all now Sad.

On the upside, I did buy this rather lovely scarf in Exeter, so, you know, not a totally wasted journey Hmm

Hopefully · 23/06/2012 18:35

I bought the cream one, seems to insist on loading the red one. Meh.

Decameron · 23/06/2012 20:13

Nice scarf Hopefully but extremely annoying about the house.

Verity, where is your navy jacket from in the Wornout post? You look lovely, well, the bit I can see!

I'm worn out myself here and still no DH. At least the children are asleep and there is wine waiting.

Hope you are feeling well, Looby.

AmberNectarine · 23/06/2012 20:22

Ooh verity, love that outfit. The Maje top is fab, I tried it on actually. Have my eye on a jumper from there which I might just commit to this week.

Have put my pinterest in order if anyone is interested. Have been cataloging my wardrobe like Dona, very useful!

Might have something to add to it as made a cheeky purchase today, but it's a bit ridiculous so may or may not keep...

Sorry the day was a bust hopefully, lovely scarf though!
