Thank you for the lovely poems annie.

Oh goodness, a v stunning lady is wearing my new lace shorts from Zara on worn out blog - if only I looked like that in mine.

pickledsiblings · 19/06/2012 23:58

Reine, just caught up with your blog - strawberry laces...now that is genius.

pickledsiblings · 20/06/2012 00:09

blue I just assumed that lady was you in the shorts!!!!!

MidnightinMoscow · 20/06/2012 07:35

Morning all.

More sunshine today so wearing stone coloured shorts with a sleeveless peter pan collar blouse. We have an outdoorsy day planned, walking to Homebase to by some herbs and then hopefully trying to get DS to help me pot them later. Will be interesting seeing as he has a very short attention span.

Red, here are the grey jeans. I meant to add Decam that as they are on sale in the 7 store, they are unreturnable. So, if you want the added bonus of sending them back I would order from Asos.

Hope you are feeling ok Looby.

MidnightinMoscow · 20/06/2012 07:46

Meant to say to Ants, how is DD today?

OllieinOrange · 20/06/2012 07:51

Back later but John Lewis sale starts online tonight at 8pm and in store tomorrow.

blossoming · 20/06/2012 08:00

I really like those 7's and can see you in them decam. Look a perfect everyday jean.
Thanks for checking out balenciaga for me mim. Still top of my list!
Thanks everything.
Good news for you yesterday red, really pleased.
Great BL finale last night ny. Great season.

pickledsiblings · 20/06/2012 08:49

Morning All

Ollie, have you got your eye on something special in JL?

Emo76 · 20/06/2012 08:54

hi all lots to catch up on here! mim Love the sound of your day. There's an M&S food across the road from my office I shall be checking out the canned cocktails at lunchtime ;-)

pickles Nice idea re the Gracie register. I have a mini black one now too - cobalt I think is going back. Can't justify both and the black I think I will use more as a clutch too.

Jigsaw has some seasonal reductions INCLUDING MY NEW TOP grrr here

Emo76 · 20/06/2012 08:55

stupid Jigsaw link doesn't work - anyway the website is easy to navigate.

notyummy · 20/06/2012 09:05

Morning all! In the iPhone on train and struggling to keep up with all the chat. Great to hear from you Reine- I loved the cookies I saw on your Facebook site yesterday!

Bloss- say nothing about BL! We record the repeat on Saturday, and given that we are away for the weekend I don't know when I will get to see it. I like the Chinese girl (can't recall her name) and really glad she is in final three. That other woman was a whinger who always had a convenient injury/asthma attack to justify her performance. The only reason she was still there was because people kept her in as she wasn't competition.)

Blue- bet you look amazing in those shorts!

MiM- loved hearing about your day. Trying v hard to be good this month but hard hearing about all the great sales shopping going on. After youthful indiscretions with credit cards I now only use interest free for big purchases (think holiday/car) as a free loan so I don't let myself use that option and it can curtail the fun (like this month...) Also taking leaf out of DHs book and never spending until savings money and AVCs for pension have left the account (compensating for 2 years spent outside of any company pension scheme.) Sheesh. Sometimes being sensible is NO FUN!

Dona- am also jealous of your Roman exploits. DH keeps
muttering about getting an overseas posting for a couple of years and I would not mind if it was a fabulous location as Defence Attaché and I get to go to parties!

On train with sunglasses on- hurray!! Silk Inwear skirt with blouse, blazer and heels. Anyone got any good ideas of where to get cheap ballerina flats that are designed to roll up and go in a handbag? I need them for my London days....

blossoming · 20/06/2012 09:14

Was cold and wet this morning here! Brightening up now. Wanted to wear my new 901s to college but am lacking in longer line tops. Low hip would do. I'm on a mission!

MarshaBrady · 20/06/2012 09:33

Morning!

Glorious here.

NY super outfit. Not sure about foldy ballet flats.

Emo I know what you mean, my Lanvins are on sale but then I've worn them to bits.

Blue you are petite and youthful (from what I have read!) Am sure you look fab.

Bloss hope the sunshine makes it to where you are.

Ollie wotchoo thinking about getting?

AmberNectarine · 20/06/2012 10:15

Gap do them for about £20 ny

MarshaBrady · 20/06/2012 10:40

I'd love a block colour simple shift dress no sleeves if anyone sees one on their travels.

Is it bad if I move an appointment so I can keep enjoying the sun?

Mim snap! I have those jeans, I also have them in blue, they really are comfortable, and never loose their shape. I also have a pair of skinnier 7's in a dark indigo with fade marks on them, sounds weird, but they are nice and were a bargainous ? 39! will put a photo of the pattern on FB if anyone is interested. I am wearing them today with a sky blue off the shoulder top, dark pink vest, LV sky scarf and dark pk pink Blochs. Today is sports day at Dd3's school.

Pickled your new job sounds great.

Looby ' hope that you're well today and all psyched up!

Hopefully · 20/06/2012 10:51

NY butterfly twists are reasonably cheap, have a friend who has approximately 47 pairs and swears by them. No idea how well they last though.

Have just been perusing new stuff on Matches. Liking this balnciaga, but it is so big I would stuff it full of all my crap and that would seem rather a waste of a £1,000 bag Grin. Have longings to return to my teenage years with this safety pin sweater, but suspect I would get rather more use out of this beautiful balenciaga one. If i was rich enough to afford a second clutch after the hypothetical tan De Manta which I will find one day, I would get this one, and if I needed a really classic bag for the city I would get the orange paraty. But sadly, none of these things are essential, so I will get not a single one. Am trying to be sensible and keep us as far as possible from the overdraft so when we move we have a bit of a buffer in case things are tighter than expected. Almost as boring as NY Grin.

I love all that stuff Hopefully.

No cc either. Dh and I have both never had one. Mostly because we can't be bothered!

Fleecy · 20/06/2012 11:39

DH lives up to the accountant stereotype when it comes to saving/spending etc and is waaaaaaaaay more sensible than me. We have a cashback card that gets paid off every month so it makes us money and never costs. He shops around for everything and is generally super cautious. Fair to say I am the family spendthrift!
