I didn't get on with the 901's. Found them too thin and was paranoid my cellulite might be visible. That being said I did try them on right after Christmas, when I was at the height of fat-paranoia.

Glad you got the floral skinnies blue, they are very lovely.

Outfit today consists of Goldsigns, grey Alexander Wang tank, grey Demylee cardi, grey Supergas and the pink Marant scarf to break up the grey. Also have my beloved rose gold MK watch back from the jewellers.

Thanks Pickled. I prefer the colourway on My-Wardrobe and would only wear them for summer so unless I see them in Selfridges next week (thanks for the tip, Florence) for a bargainous price, I'll go for plain J Brands instead.

(It's 35 C in Italy - all summer purchases are fully justified and will will lots of use, won't they. Way too hot for skinny jeans. BTW, if you are coming to Italy in summer, don't wear a maxi. Maxis+flat glittery sandals are the uniform of British tourists. The maxi thing really hasn't caught on here in Rome.)

Marsha - am of your run. It was so lovely leaving the house early this morning and just the right temp for a run. Instead I had ti get in the car. Grr. Have a run planned for early evening, but looking at the forecast I suspect it will feel quite hot then and I will struggle - anything more than 15/16 degrees really impacts on my running!

I have two random things to post about:

Firstly, remember Dressipi - the website that suggests suitable clothes for you based on details you have provided? Was talking to a friend who says she spent some time over a couple of weeks going through all their suggestions for her and liking or disliking them (if you dislike something it asks you the reasons why) and now she says its a brilliant tool - everything that is suggested she likes and is very 'her'. Maybe worth spending some time on?

She found this lovely blazer from Monsoon comes in lots of colours - ticks all my HoC CP boxes but apparently they have been flying of the shelves hence all the out of stocks!

The other thing was I found a new way of testing perfume in a newly opened shop last week - all the scents are on paper squares placed inside large overturned glasses so you can pick them up and have a sniff. I always get overwhelmed testing perfume with all the squirting onto my eyes/nosetester sticks etc - this way meant it was easy to smell each individual scent before squirting the ones you really liked Genius.

Farhi stuff on John Lewis website is now reduced.
