I am STILL faffing about deciding which to get and with the sales starting i need to make a decision so that i can get the ideal one as cheaply as poss (not knowing what size to get does not help!).

So i like the Boudicca one from Liberty here as well as the Arianna here

What i need is mid-length ideally (ie, not short), covers flabby post-pregnancy tum, sleeves of some description, more than likely black but happy to consider other colours, needs to be a classic and slimming number. Oh and would be great if it came in under £200. This is a real treat to me but it MUST be right!!! I'm mostly a 12 but an Anglomania dress i bought from the Outnet last year was very big and got sent back but it wasn't partic fitting and can't see me being a 10 ???

Can you help??

Cobblers-I'm a huge VW fan but mainly get mine from eBay. I think Arainna will be more flattering on a post pregnancy tum due to the rouched waist. Like the colours as well.

Good luck with your choice

Yes to the Ariana! Love it.

I'm a 12 and find that in the VW jersey dresses, a medium is fine but in the more structured cotton dresses, they tend to come up a bit big across the shoulders so a ten fits a bit better across my back (but then nork issues mean it might not fit there!). Overall, I'd say if you're a 10/12 in M&S then go medium but if you're a 12 in Miss Selfridge/H&M then go small!

I'm seeing the Arianna on various sites sometimes looking shorter than other pics. Is that the style of the dress, ie, you can pull it up or push down for different lengths? Or me just going slightly mad ????
