Eyeshadow suggestions?

Right, you knowledgeable lot.

I am mid thirties and I am in need of new eyeshadow. I have previously used MAC but this is a shade on the expensive side for me at the mo so anything cheaper than MAC is the way forward. What brands out there are decent, long wearing and not too drying as I am prone to a touch of dry skin. I also wear contacts and don't want anything too sparkly-shiney!

Any suggestions gratefully received.
TIA

What about Sleek which I have heard is good and GOSH at Superdrug?

I like Urban Decay shadows. The palettes have nice colours in them and the shadows last well, especially when you use their eyeshadow primer first.

I like no7 shadows too, their greens are lovely.

I am liking Une quite a lot at the moment - certainly cheaper, smoother and longer-lasting than Clinique, I would say.

www.kikocosmetics.com/eshop/uk/make-up/eyes/eyeshadow really like these, personally think they are as good as mac but cheap as chips, good colour selection too.
If your anywhere near Westfield at Stratford they have a shop there too.

I bought some Benefit cream eyeshadow last weekend and have been really pleased with it. It's slightly shimmery but is easy to put on, looks good and lasts all day.

L'oreal chrome. Lasts all day and it's not pricey.
I bought loads of stila ones recently. Wish I hadn't. They are not very good. Ends up under my eyes as I apply it Sad

Many thanks to all of you for answering. I shall look into them all and see what takes my fancy. I've never heard of a couple, like Une, Sleek and GOSH!

Thanks again!
