Help needed - posh party!

Got a posh party to go to (on a boat) at end of the month..am panicking as have nothing suitable to wear. I am dress and skirt averse due to my horrible and massive legs.
Was thinking I could get away with a jumpsuit maybe? I am 5ft 2, smallish boobs, small waist and wide hips - hourglass. Shoulders balance out hips.

I can't do dresses/skirts at all - just hate my legs too much.

Budget - up to £50...I saw this which I liked the style of, but worried it'll look cheap....party will be brim full of the wealthy, stylish and elegant. And then me.

Dunno! I'd be tempted to go with a lovely slightly purpley grey I have (Bourjois Bleu asphalte I think) but I'm a bit odd. others would say it's a bit wintery

I'm assuming you have short nails? Maybe a burgandy? Coral? nails aren't really my thing - do me toes and buff fingernails (toddlers and washing up)

Bracelets in budget are disappointing - have you seen owt?

OOh - some good bangles - I like the last 4, especially the Darla Coast one and the cracked grey perspex one....my nails are short, reasonable condition, purpley-grey sounds lovely! Not as if we're having the weather for summery colours anyway...

I wonder if the wite is a bit fussy? But I don't ever get on with coast. The grey(s) wou;d work really well, tie it all together nicely.

Yes agree, New Look one is good style/shape but you just know it'll be paper thin and look cheap and nasty. Hadn't noticed the gold bit around the white cuff - shame as I liked that one.

If it is the blue one I'd go for a dark red nail, or a beige ish colour, Chanel may or June (or cheaper similars) are nice (but not me...I like dark or sludge). I just bought "stormy" by Revlon which is a grey, but may not contrast enough with the colour of the jumpsuit.

Hi Drywhite....yes, gone for black Phase Eight jumpsuit, which will go with my black court shoes, just about to make decision on bangle, really like the Mango one...getting the DP silver clutch and have a silvery/grey pashmina that will match.. was thinking red lippy, so doesn't that mean nails need to match? Loving the sound of Stormy grey nail polish though. Will let you know how it looks when all put together. Thanks

Update: The jump suit has arrived and it looks amazing! Thank you ladies so much. I have tried it on with the pashmina, the shoes and the bag and it looks v v classy. Lovely jersey fabric, so flattering. I do think I'm going to have to either spend a bit on a bangle or borrow something decent though, am worried about ruining whole effect with a cheap jewellry. As I am such a short-arse, it may need a tiny bit of taking up at the hem. Will get this done professionally. Otherwise fits like a glove. Sorted. Best £99 I ever spent.
