I love the Damsel in a Dress one - really classy and special looking.

Bucketbetty: I'm afraid that the all saints dress you suggested looks an awful lot like... Erm.. A crumpled dust sheet to me. A £300 crumpled dust sheet.

That said, I am not exactly stylish.

Ooooh I just LOVE the silver Zara sandals - they are just fab and would be perfect with Damsel dress. Thanks to the person who said the Phase 8 looks middle aged - that was exactly my concern. I think the All Saints is a non-strater for the wedding - as someone said, they are quirky and I do love thier stuff but maybe it's a holiday dress and only if it's in the sale. Will phone John Lewis tomorrow to see if they have the Damsel dress and take frumpy Phase 8 back (stopping by Zara en route!). As for those shoes, I will get them back out and maybe pass them on to my lovely step-daughter. Thanks to all for very constructive criticism - much appreciated. I'll update on how the Damsel dress goes (note to self - must tone up upper arms in next 2 weeks!)
