Call me Kate - and help me go nude!

I am going to a wedding and think it'll probably be too cold for bare legs (which are white anyway due to lack of a summer!). I want some nude tights as per the fragrant Kate Middleton but am bewildered by the choice, colour and denier. Please help me with some very specific details or I'll end up at the wedding in a pair of 60 denier black winter tights :)

I've made a note of those, thanks, I have the same dilemma. If if if the weather improves in the next couple of weeks, would bare legs be acceptable (I'm not a fan of wearing tights), or are they a big no no?

Don't go too dark if you are not. I always think of sheer tights as being like foundation for legs - there to even everything out but not replace a tan.

Kate wears John Lewis non-slip tights in nude, 7 denier, £5. They have little rubbery patches in the soles which are supposed to help keep you from walking out of your shoes. Be careful putting them on, they snag easily.

I prefer the M and S Autograph 5 or 7 denier ones which are ladder resist. Tend to be careful with natural tan as can look a bit orangey if my legs have no tan already.
