Website says clothes are generously cut. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Well I'm a size 10 in M&S and I'd buy size 12 t shirts in there. I've always found them slightly on the small size, and would always size up if I thought I was between sizes.
HTH.

I find the bottoms generous; tops less so.

i find their sizing odd. kids stuff is small, woman's stuff - dresses/skirts are large, but tops and trousers are small.

DD bought a dress there yesterday she's normally a 12 on top, 10 on the bottom. She took a size 10 in their dresses and in the tops she tried on.

Generally I find it too generous (and most things stretch ALOT as you're wearing them and end up huge) but then there is the odd thing that can be far too small, so I've given up ordering from their website now and just go to the shop

I use one of these as a guide.

typicalvirgo · 13/06/2012 13:54

Yes I would say generous.

I am wearing fat face 3/4 jeans today in a size 8 and cardigans I am a 10.

From topshop I'm a 10 and karen Milen a 12 - so a complete mixture of sizing !

Size up if its a t-shirt.

Roomy up top. I have big boobs and am a 14, but have to size up dresses at other places e.g Boden just to fit them in. Fat Face dresses fit me really well in a 14.
Their jeans are nice, have a higher back waist than the front so no gaping or muffins and the straight cut is fab on middle-aged short women like me who look ridiculous in skinnies.
Jeans true to size IMO.
