Another vote for l'oreal BB cream

Bought it last leek and had loads of compliments on my skin

I have spotty and uneven skin and this stuff makes a difference

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 10:42

Someone has recommended the Benefit one to me. (Just waiting until I'm feeling flush and can get to a big Boots, so I haven't tried it yet.)

Am also very fair and this stuff is a good match for my skin tone

Not tinted moisturiser but I am ghost like pale, with problem spotty chin and I really like Laura Mercier mineral powder. Can make it sheer and then extra coverage on spots/scarring, a lot of the time I don't have to use concealer on spots. It lasts me 13 hours, put on once. It's not cheap but it's a good one and my spots have been much better since I switched from a chanel liquid foundation.

Estee Lauder does it for me.

comelywench · 13/06/2012 15:39

Thank everyone. Some really interesting suggestions!

Laura mercier. Love it. Light but you can layer it over problem areas.

I've been using the skintint from Liz Earle and I quite like it, they would send you samples I am sure, I have a few sitting around from freebies they shove in the parcel. I also like the clinique citywear which makes my skin feel lovely. Quite intrigued by BB creams but I don't feel I understand what they are really.

Lily Lolo mineral makeup has been a revelation for my hormonal spotty skin. It treats it whilst covering incredibly well and it looks natural. Perfection.

nivea visage young be beautiful
great and cheap

CutItOutAndRestart · 14/06/2012 12:54

if you are very pale, as I am, try some of the Korean bb creams. I have some Liz Earle samples I could send on (just need to find them as I can't remember which shade they are!)

comelywench · 14/06/2012 13:02

What are bb creams? I'm so ignorant!

Holika Holika Clearing BB cream from Korea - you can get it on ebay for about a fiver

shopafrolic · 18/06/2012 09:36

BB creams are brilliant. Another vote for L'oreal. They are Blemish Balms. Basically cover blemishes, even out skin tone, create a smooth base if you want to use foundation on top and brighten the skin. Miracles in a tube. Try it - makes me look so much fresher after a rough night with the DS!

porkypine · 18/06/2012 12:54

another vote for Holika Holika clearing BB cream. I bought it on ebay a couple of weeks ago, got it last week, and it is super. My skin sounds exactly like yours.
