When I first started getting in to skincare I used witch hazel(neat) from the chemist (b ad idea I think)N Boots natual collection lemon grass (if I remember right) facial wash, clearasil. I had v v oily skin.

Fist moisturiser was a Boots basic one that probably cost less than two pound.

Late teens (at Uni) Clinique 3 step skincare then Lancome Vinefit (sp?) Moisuriser.

Estee Lauder day wear/ face wash.

Clinique DDM in gel form and the v v gentle clarifying lotion.

Philsophy face wash. Can't remember moisuriser.

Eve Lom cleanser/kiehls moisturiser

Budget friendly moisturider/ wash or clinique facial was on GWP

Now Liz Earle c and p/budget or origins moisturiser.

What about you?

In my teens, it was BodyShop , all through college days into early /mid twenties. (Vit E cream, passion fruit wash off cleanser, Cucumber cleansing lotion).

Then late 20s ,progressed to Aveda- cleansing gel for shower, liquid exfoliante, cleanser, moisturiser (lovely green glass bottles).
Brief dalliance with Molten Brown - wash off cleanser and their moisturiser

In 30's Liz Earle. -Cleanse and polish and the Light moisturiser + the Line Serum (I don't like lavender, so there's alot of her items I don't use)

Now (46) I've used Philosophy for 3-4 years.- The microdelivery wash, Hope in a Jar and the eye/lip cream.
I still use Liz Earle for heavy make-up, otherwise Purity.

Luckily my skin is pretty well behaved.
Some of the ranges like Decleor or Gatineau seem too flipping complex.

With the exception of Body Shop, all my skin care is from QVC. I don't like going into shops and being swooped on by sales staff and the overwhelming choice [wibbles]

How do you remember this crap?

Krumbum · 13/06/2012 02:14

I used clearasil and oxy for ages trying to get rid of acne (didn't work just made my skin sore) then clinique three step, started trying to be all natural so used lush fresh farmacy and ocean salt. Now I'm using no7 beautiful skin foaming cleanser, simple light moisturiser and superdrug spot gel. My skin is better than its ever been but I think that's just getting older lol.

I'm 25 and have used so much I can't even remember!!??

In my teens it was body shop, can't remember which one but it was for oil skin. Also used Clean & Clear.
In my early twenties it was Clinique then Chanel.
Mid twenties Clarins, Estée Lauder.
Late twenties to now Liz Earle, Eve Lom and currently Alpha H, Emma Hardie & decleor oils.

Feel like I've tried everything but finally (touch wood) have a routine that suits my skin really well.
