Help- Frizzy hair?

I have just got home from work and looked in the mirror. I wish I hadn't- I have been wandering around all day looking a right mess.
I have mid length, medium type hair, that is prone to kinks and frizz.
Can anyone recommend me a product to make me feel a bit more sleek,..but not greasy?
Or even a hairstyle. I usually have a side fringe sleepy thing, but when it doesn't go right I clip it back, which is what I have done today.
I think I just always look a mess- maybe a product is what I need?
All ideas gratefully appreciated.

I suffer similar issues, and so far the best product (if used very sparingly) has been Kerastase Elixir. Have a google at the reviews, pricey but lasts forever.

Also, if you choose to blow dry straight: Khiels straightening cream works really well for me, it is the only product that hasn't left a residue or greasy feel to my hair, and actually creates a silky feel. Decent price here at John Lewis:

Aveda style prep. Doesn't take much and you don't have to wash your hair the day after because of greasiness.

I use L'oreal elvive (dark blue bottle) shamppo, Aveda dry rememdy intense conditioner thing and then that. Job done. Cuts frizz loads.

Go to Aveda and they will probably offer you samples. I have had quite a few in the past few weeks (not today sadly)

My hair is dry and frizzy and i find leave in conditioners work well. I like boots own coconut and almond spray (£1 something) to use most days on dry hair while brushing or the toni and guy one. Neither leave my hair feeling coated so maybe worth a try.
