Maternity wear

Hello,

Can anyone reccommend a low-cost maternity wear store? Online or off line, I don't mind. Don't want to spend much, but don't want to look like a complete mess either!

Thanks

Have a look through some of the recent threads on here - there have been some long ones with good suggestions.

In the meantime Matalan gets good press. Gap have a 50% sale on atm including some maternity clothes. Dorothy Perkins & New Look both do maternity ranges. eBay is another good budget place to look. H&M are brilliant for jeans and have some lovely loose non maternity tops in. I recommend their vests for c£5 too. They're long and keep their stretch.

All of my maternity wear came from H&M. I was really impressed with it, the jeans particularly! Everything lasted well and was really comfy. Better still I bought it in the sales so the jeans were £10 and the tops varied from £3-£7!

All of my stuff came from H&M too!

Jeans, leggins, dresses, tights, tshirts and blouses. Not only that but it is the only store I know where MOST of their maternity range is actually there in the shop unlike Next, the bastards other shops around.

H&M is lovely stuff. Cheap and really good quality. The tops are fab for breastfeeding in too and are really comfy for the months after you've had baby.

I am rubbish at links so forgive me if they dont work - you might have to cut and paste, but I have just been buying stuff.

www.seraphine.co.uk - pricey but the sale pages for bargains and treats (I had to have some of their jeans as they are so nice)

www.heavenlybump.co.uk some heinous, but some lovely tops and dresses too and its really lovely quality. Sizes, like all maternity clothes, on the biggish size.

www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk Some good priced tops and dresses although some stuff is expensive. Mumsnet usually have a voucher code for 10% off in their partner offers.

www.bumpsmaternity.com/Maternity-Clothes.html some pricey, but some bargains on sale nearly all the time

In store I got some lovely shorts, trousers and dresses from New Look - not a shop I normally go to, but they had some good stuff. There is some stuff just online, so worth a look. Online seemed nicer than in the shops. Sizes come up big.

I also got some nice stuff from H&M, I love their vests particularly and got a gorgeous maternity swimsuit that is super flattering.

Dorothy Perkins has some nice dresses if you need summer work stuff.

Can you tell I am a tad obsessed?

I got some fantastic bargains in TKMaxx, non maternity smocks and maxi dresses (if the weather ever clears up), some of the stuff atm has more than enough room for a bump if you buy the next size up.

Also Mammas and papas in the sale, some stuff goes really cheap. Also Fat Face in the sale (again non matt wear that has enough room for bump in a size up.

I like
www.bumpaliciousmaternity.co.uk/

and there is a sale on now I think on some items.
