Help me dress for a rare night out - to a club !

I haven't been to a club for years.... I'm struggling to keep the fine line between not looking like mutton and keeping it slightly classy but at the same time, not looking frumpy or as though I've got lost on my way to a wedding....

I'm 37, size 12-14, hourglass (ish) with a bit of a tummy.

I may end up with my usual going out outfit of skinnies, heels and a "nice" top but wouldn't mind a dress/skirt. Legs are ok or I can wear opaques if its too much above knee length

Any suggestions please ?

this is probably the main contender so far but not sure its not a bit "much"

I think anything goes these days, you will see everything from casual to mega dressed up so whatever you feel comfortable in. I like that dress though

I really like that - but as an hourglass, do you not need something a bit more fitted at the waist? It seems quite expensive for Warehouse, too.

Great top for wearing with black skinnies, if you feel like splashing out! But it must be sale time soon, right?

Thanks both.... I do like the VW top but I need to cover my back a bit more (very mole-y back)....

I quite like this top with skinnies ? As you can see, I'm being drawn to "sparkly" stuff

Gorgeous - but ouch at the price!

Actually love that top

It is a bit pricey but I'd get more use out of a top than a dress

Love that PV top. It would look lovely in the summer too, with some pale jeans and flats, so you would get more wear out of it.
