Leather. Needs to hold cards, coins and notes. Quite like long, flat and a bit masculine.

Help me shop?

I have a Mulberry which is rather like that.

ThreadWatcher · 08/06/2012 22:58

I have a leather one from TkMaxx - they have loads in store to choose from, varying degrees of loveliness (some laughably vile!)

LakeFlyPie · 08/06/2012 23:01

I second TKMaxx, I got a lovely one recently which matches your description, they also had some bargainous Osprey ones. For your £100 you could get matching bag too Wink

wonderstuff · 08/06/2012 23:02

There was a lovely Lulu Guiness one on QVC last night (there was nothing on at all last night)

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:09

Hmm bet your Mulberry was 4x what I want to spend FiftyShades. I have a Mulberry shoulder bag that was 6x that price when Half price at Bicester!

I will go and check out my TKMaxx.

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:11

Yep. I want this but for half the price?

boxyfoxy · 08/06/2012 23:15

get a grip. a wallet, ooh for less than £100???? wow that's so difficult....

FiftyShadesofViper · 08/06/2012 23:15

I'm so sorry I've just re-read the title and realised I had misread your < as being a >. Can I blame it on Wine?
It was £200 so not quite that bad but still over what you wanted. Hope you are enjoying your bag, I bought one recently at Cheshire Oaks and I adore it.

Agree TKMaxx is good but be prepared to go a few times if anything like our local one, sometimes it is lovely but sometimes just tat.

ThreadWatcher · 08/06/2012 23:20

Loads in that style in tkMaxx ebdteacher - but perhaps not Mulberry.

I adore their bags too :)

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:20

Tetchy boxyfoxy. I'll make one out of a left over cereal packet if you prefer?

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:24

FFIW I hate shopping so any recommendations are saving me considerable torture. I am currently using a hideous wallet MIL bought me surely as some sort of punishment.

EllenParsons · 08/06/2012 23:24

I have a nice one from Pied a terre, which is black leather, lots of card space, longish but not too bulky. I don't know the price as it was a bday present from my SIL, but I have seen similar Pied a terre ones for about £70. Definitely under £100.

boxyfoxy · 08/06/2012 23:25

I am not suggesting a wallet made out of a cereal packet, but I think you might find that there are quite a lot of alternatives out there in that price range. You need help with that do you?

EllenParsons · 08/06/2012 23:25

Oh also I think they might even be on sale at House of Fraser, so would be even cheaper.

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:27

Yes. I don't like shopping. Other people do.

OP posts:
EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:32

I like this but it's not quite androgenous enough. Maybe the corners are a bit too curvy

OP posts:
boxyfoxy · 08/06/2012 23:36

teachers- too lazy to even shop and must be overpaid these days then!!

wonderstuff · 08/06/2012 23:38

Not liking shopping = overpaid & lazy? Not really logical that is it?

EBDTeacher · 08/06/2012 23:45

You think I should trawl wallet shops rather than do little kid things with my toddler in my spare time? Wowzers.

Here was me thinking that post kid bedtime, inane shopping converstion on a style and beauty forum would be acceptable. What a doofus!

LittlePandaBear · 08/06/2012 23:54

Ignore boxy, I've never seen anyone with a jealous rant if they were asking for help for a £100 dress on style and beauty, so I don't know why a purse for £100 is any different! It's something you'll use everyday so fair enough if you want to spend on it!

Anyway, this is nice but over budget...

MoonlightandRoses · 09/06/2012 00:12

I have assumed black or tan only.
DKNY
Joop
Furla
Aspinal, but £25 over budget
Aspinal, but might be a bit shiny

EBDTeacher · 09/06/2012 05:52

Love that KG one LittlePandaBear. Like the fact that it is not branded on the outside. Wonder how much of a beating the zip would put up with.

I love my radley one they have a sale on just now and have ones without the dogs. It's great quality and still looks like new.

sassytheFIRST · 09/06/2012 09:49

TKMaxx is your friend. Have a mooch.

madammecholet · 09/06/2012 10:22

These are very plain, (too plain for me) but the leather is nice as I have a bag from them.. P&M wallets
