Teeth whitening

Has anybody tried home tooth whitening products? I can't afford to have it done by my dentist at the moment, but he has checked my teeth/gums and says that peroxide trays would be suitable for me. I know the shop-bought products aren't as strong as the ones the dentist can give you but do they work at all, or is it a false economy? Would I be better off saving up for the full-on dental treatment? At £500 for upper & lower bleach trays, or £380 for Zoom laser whitening, I really can't justify the cost at the moment!

Share your secrets of pearly gnashers with me please!

There's a lot going round about using banana peel to whiten teeth.
Apparently rubbing the inside of a banana peel onto your teeth for 2 minutes each day and then cleaning your teeth makes them really white.
Haven't tried it myself yet though!

You should sign upto Groupon, I've just had a deal for teeth whitening for £59 (reduced from £199). There's loads of offers like this. All reputable companies.Smile

Yes, I've just missed a Groupon deal so I will keep my eyes peeled for the next one. In the meantime I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try banana peel...!!
