If you had two hours to find an outfit for a party tomorrow, what shop would you head to?

Yes, I know its a bad idea shopping on a time frame.

I have got stuff to fall back on but, I just wanted to nip out to see if there is anything Im missing.

Im not feeling very slim at the moment and I know tomorrow Im going to be trying things on and throwing them away

Budget is limited, Im just wondering if I can be bothered to go to that London town.

Dorothy Perkins or/and H&M, I'd say. New Look for shoes.

I got a fantastic and very flattering black with bird print, fit and flare dress in H&M last week. 'tis a bit short but great with leggings and wedges - not online otherwise I'd link. Was 15 euros...

Ive got tan KG sandals which I think I can dance in. I just need something cheap n cheerful to go with them.

Oh right, that;s easier then. Sure you'll fine something in one of those two. The vanity sizing in H&M is always a morale booster...

John Lewis? all the concessions there

Or Zara?

Nice bit of bling in Dotty P too

I'd go to a department store, maybe somewhere like Debenhams, so you have the choice of sensible party or fun party wear, plus you have more choice for accessories. With only 2 hours I'd also rope in the personal shopper if they are free.

TheNightWatch · 08/06/2012 12:51

I'm starting in Dotty P's. I don't think the John Lewis on Brent Cross is that great if I'm honest. The H and M is always like a jumble sale but, I will give it a go.

i'd go to debenhams. the one local to us has a dp, top shop, oasis, warehouse, red herring, henry holland. i always find something in there. i like next for shoes, bought some heels from there the other day and they are some comfy (and i normally hate wearing heels)

Evans. Choice is slim (snigger) for fatties like me Grin
