High heel wearers over here please

Just bought some ridiculously high strappy silver heels for a wedding on Saturday.any tips to help me walk normally?TY

Practice!!!!! And the gel ball of the feet things are good if you find it hurts there.
But just walk round in the house in them from now until you Saturday......gets easier with practice! But I am at the point I haven't been able to wear flat shoes for decades due to adopting high heels in my teens.....

Definitely practice! and attitude as well, you don't want to do that sort of shuffle that you see some people doing (hard to describe it but the look like they are terrified of falling off them and their feet sort of don't bend).

Walk heel to toe. People walk heel to toe in general but forget when they have heels on lol, and start being completely flat footed. But you will look more natural and at ease it you consciously walk heel to toe.

As well as practice, you have to adjust your posture. You can't stand/walk the same way you do in flats.
Also, you need to perfect the quick glances at the ground rather than just walking with you eyes to the ground constantly. You need to be aware of uneven ground/ cracks in pavement, etc as heels get stuck in places flats don't!

Try to walk like Joanna Lumley! She has the Lucie Clayton (50s charm school) walk that works well for heels: straight back, shoulders down, pelvis tilted slightly forward as if you a sitting into into your walk. It looks weird if you haven't got heels on but gives pantherish grace in v high heels.
