Being very sad/organised and trying to purchase a coat for DD (5) for next year. Hoping i may find something in the sales etc. Can anyone recommend a good (long) past bottom coat for a girl. Like the style of the north face parka coats, but need warmth and waterproofness and not the price of northface (unless in an amazing sale)! Thanks

Lands end might be worth a look. They have a good reputation for kids coats. I would also recommend Togz warm and dry, fab coat.
Not sure if you'll see warm ones in a sale this time of year.

I remembered seeing some Didricksons coats marked down too, rated on here but expensive full price. Try Viking Kids, Waterproof World.
