Was planning;

Fitted red blazer
Stripy Breton l/s t shirt
White jeans
Ballerinas
Nice handbag
sunglasses!!

Having seen weather forecast, now thinking;

Vest
Warm jumper
Waterproof technicals jacket with hood
Boots and thick socks
Handbag that won't get ruined in rain

I know I sound vain (but this is S and B) but how can I look nice, dry and warm?

You can't is the short answer. But in a technical jacket and waterproof boots you will be able to enjoy the concert. Don't take a handbag - just stuff money in the inside pocket of your jacket.
And if its really going to tip down, a baseball cap under your hood will stop the rain running down your face.

I have these

Love love them because keep feet warm and dry....but will I just look ridiculous? Don't think we're on grass.

They are erm.. Interesting.
I went to one last night. Jeans cost boots scarf.loys of people under dressed looking cold

drywhiteplease · 05/06/2012 13:09

Ok thought my "country" look boots would look stupid at a concert.
Going for normal boots, skinny jeans,layers,black technicals rainproof jacket, warehouse butterfly scarf. Dressed for winter in June....bloody hell!

yes the better you are dressed ( warmth wise) the better you will look

If it's tipping down, nobody will care in the slightest what you are wearing! Think Kate Moss at Glasto and go for something along the lines of skinnies, parka, wellies, huge brolly and attitude!

drywhiteplease · 05/06/2012 14:38

Ooooh I wish I had a parka!

how was it DW?

drywhiteplease · 06/06/2012 22:58

Great fun and I don't know what I was fussing about! I looked fine. There were a few women in flip flops and summer dresses who froze. Some Wellies but mostly jeans and warm/waterproof jackets. MN need to tell me to shut up and stop fussing.
Thanks for all the advice Thanks
