In dire need of new bras, and have looked at the archives and found this thread

Are any people about who can help? I am pretty sure I was in the massively wrong bra size, so I want to start from scratch - where do I need to measure to get one of you lovely ladies to give me a starting point?!

Gosh! You chaps know your stuff.

For me the most important measurement is the ribcage under the boobs. Then the underwire must fit flat. After that the cup size is trial and error.

I'm a 40 back size and a top size 22 so I think you are definately smaller in the back. Maybe 38? Do you think your boobs are big or small looking at them? A c is fairly small.
