A Lidl Perfume - surely not??!

A thread on here has suggested a Lidl perfume 'suddenly' as smelling genuinely like or possibly even better than Chanels mademoiselle. At the excitement of saving myself £80 I am keen to try. It's longevity throughout the day doesn't worry me, I just don't want it to fade to eau de cats wee or bring me out in a deathly rash. Having never even stepped inside a Lidl I wonder has anyone else tried this and is it really that good? Sounds like i have been missing out. Thanks.

yes it does smell like coco m, just doesn't last as long, but I can live with that as it's only a fiver!Grin

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 04/06/2012 11:53

Yeah, it's good. The first minute or is so slightly dodgy but then it's fab, does fade quickly, but hell, it's not a problem at that price.

I've been using it for a while and love it - I can wear it much more often, and not feel bad about reapplying, as it's so cheap! The first minute or so after applying smells a bit acidy, but it settles to a lovely fragrance that lasts 3/4 hours for me. Not bad at all.

Whats the perfume called?(must try!)

missnevermind · 04/06/2012 14:42

Ooh Mum bought me a bottle of this a couple of months ago, I thought Hmm Aldi purfume and it has been sat on the desk ever since.

I have just opened it and sprayed some Grin and it settles down very nicely so thanks MNet I have a new purfume.

whats it called?

DonaAna · 04/06/2012 15:11

Suddenly Madame Glamour. They also carry a Tresor knockoff - Chalon?

I did a side-by side comparison some time ago and they are similar but not exact duplicates. The Lidl version is gentler - if you are a Chloé girl, go gor it.

Tangointhenight · 04/06/2012 15:28

I suggested this on a different thread...honestly you won't be disappointed....for £2.99, obviously it doesn't last as long but if you give yourself a good coating it can last all day! It's called suddenly, let us know what you think!

Tangointhenight · 04/06/2012 15:30

Oh and I use it everyday and not a deadly rash in sight :o

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 04/06/2012 16:37

Oh yeah, no rashes here either Grin. I tend to put in in my hair though - makes it last quite a bit longer (as with all perfumes).

MadamTwoSwords · 04/06/2012 17:00

I've got one stashed away ready for when this one runs out!
It is a bit dodgy at first but really nice once it's settled in. Lasts till after lunch for me.

AndWhenYouGetToThePalace · 04/06/2012 17:14

Oooh, the hair idea is a good one, thanks.

Chicinwellies · 04/06/2012 17:50

Bonus re no rash! Will go out to seek a bottle on wed
