Summer bottoms

What do you wear on your bottom half in the summer if you are short (5ft) and have very wide, unshapely legs?

I admire all the ladies in their straight skinny jeans and cigarette pants but know these are no good for me.

I have some lovely summer tops and shoes but struggling with in between.

I have some white trousers from monsoon last year but whilst they are comfy, they look like pyjamas and I know are unflattering. Also have some cropped jeans but don't feel great in them. Finally have some old skirts, mostly a line, I guess boden style but don't feel great in those either, feel they stop where my legs are widest.
Saw someone mentioning maxi skirts lately which I thought sounded interesting but nothing came up searching john Lewis petite and next petite (I'd need petite)

Any inspiration welcomed!

I'm your height and have this one which I wear with a vest top and denim jacket. Its pretty slim fitting so doesn't drown me.

I also have a roll top jersey skirt by a brand called Velvet which is lovely and the roll top makes the length adjustable - gap is doing very similar styles at the moment so worth a look. Also a brand called cheska which is available in JL

I have these from New Look although since I bought them it has been raining so I've not worn them yet! They come in a 30 inch leg which is good as I'm about 5ft 2 and a bargain at £12! Just hoping the sun will come back!
