VERY hot date approaching...

but (v long story cut short) 4 months earlier than expected.

So... realistically, what can I do in a fortnight? NO time at all to go anywhere (ft work, plus childcare issues). Am about 9 lbs over fighting weight and thanks to the joys of PCOS am hairier than a hairy man and he likes a shaven girl ideally, god help me.
In my world, face beyond redemption, but, oh wise ones, is there anything I can do to make me feel (and look?) wonderful in 2 weeks time. Any top tips? I know he will not care, but I do, and trust me, it is so worth the caring :)

2 weeks is enough time to lose a bit of weight, and if you do some exercise each day you would be starting to see results in that time - I've never tried it but google 30 day shred. You can probably find it to try on YouTube to last you until you can get it delivered, or if you have sky go on fitness tv and record one of the exercise programmes on there.

Few days before, go to a salon and get very waxed, eyebrows and face hair threaded if you can find somewhere, or waxed if not. Manicure and pedicure, will definitely give you an ego boost.

Day before get a spray tan, everyone looks slimmer if brown, personally I'm incredibly pale so I get the lightest one possible but ask the salon's advice if you don't normally get them.

If its going to be an "overnight" date, get your eyelashes tinted and consider having individual lashes applied, means you wake up looking fresher than just bare faced.

Wouldn't recommend all of this as a regular thing, but for a special date it's worth it!

Agree. You could lose 5lbs in 2 weeks. More of you are fatter. Agree with tan too

Thank you! Have the 30 day shred, shall dust it off and get doing. Tan is good idea. It will be an overnight date...:)
