white sandals or black?

i think i've found the perfect strappy sandals for work through the summer - but they only come in white or black and i can't decide which is most practical.

i'll only have one pair of work sandals so they have to go with everything i wear sandals with... i've got denim skirts, black trousers, beige trousers, patterned dresses (fat face type) so which would you go for? black seem more smart i think but white maybe more summery... help me out of this ridiculous indecision.

I think black. Much easier to wear with any outfit. The colour will age better than white. You can wear them later in the year, weather permitting.

Any help?

i can't wear nice shoes with bare feet my skin just gets rubbed so easily and i end up raw and bleeding

I'm not keen on either black or white sandals I think there is no place for black footwear in the summer and white looks a bit too casual for work. I am not a S&B guru though

I would say black for work, white for casual, although i do love brown leather sandals.

Red of purple are my default colours for going with virtually everything and they'd go with black. Or a teal? I should admit, however, my choice of summer sandals has been sneered at this year in this household.

hmmmm.... teal... now there's an idea - i wear a lot of blues on top...

i tend to go for silver or gold for summer.....but i dont need them for work.

I have white, black, purple, red and blue sandals plus a few ther colours( can you tell I like summer shoe shopping) the pair I wear the most are the white ones. They go with more things. The ones I wear least are my black.
