knock-off Genie bras

I read about Genie bras and they sounded fab and just what I wanted, but the price (£40 for 3) seemed a bit high to me if they didn't turn out to be what I wanted.

So I bought knock-off ones from Ebay instead.

Frankly they are not that good. The reasons I wanted the Genie bra were

  • support - I took this to mean non-wobbly boobs
  • natural lift - I took this to mean there would actually be some lift effect
  • non monoboob - what it says
  • comfortable for yoga and exercise - due to the above factors I rather think not

So these ones don't do any of the above and I'm embarrassed to walk down the street with a wobbling mono-boob.

However, are the proper Genie bras any better? I am a 36E and up to now my favourite type of bra is a minimiser as I can't stand jutty-out chests. If there are any Genie bra wearers out there can you let me know your thoughts?

I haven't tried them so can't help with that unfortunately. I think with this type of garment you do need to size down to get any support, otherwise they end up a bit baggy and saggy.

Note to Genie Bra - I would have tried them, only I also didn't want to buy three bras for £40. I would have tried one for £12ish, and bought more if I got on with it. And in colours of my choosing.

That's the annoying thing - I DID buy it smaller and it seems to have merely enhanced the mono-boob effect. Blush

no this flimsy fabric is simply not enough to provide support to E-cups, no matter what they claim. Have you tried Fantasie t-shirt bras? Very comfortable and pretty rounded shapes, not jutty-out.
And you need a proper sports bra for exercising.
