Does anyone use it?
It's been recommended for rosacea.

I found it good against the sun but horrid consistency - sort of flaked off during the day

Fourlegged · 30/05/2012 08:59

Not good consistency and an ashy colour....rather oily too

RamblingRosa · 30/05/2012 09:01

I use and no problems with consistency or flaking here. I like it.

RadioSilence · 30/05/2012 09:09

I use it too and it acts like a primer for me, smoothing out the skin and making blemishes less noticeable. I tend to use it under mineral foundation and I have never had any problems with it.

fragola · 30/05/2012 09:42

I have rosacea and I didn't like it at all. The consistency is horrible - it made my face feel like I was wearing a mask and it really blocked my pores. I also had flaking issues!

ameliagrey · 30/05/2012 10:08

I've used it for about 20 years and love it! Use it over a moisturiser, and blend well. Those of you who say it flakes, I imagine you are either using far too much, or not using a moisturiser and allowing it to sink in.

The SPF 25 is thicker- but is zinc oxide based, and the SPF 40 is thinner but is more chemical sun screen based.

MrsRobertDuvallHasRosacea · 30/05/2012 10:09

Amelia...do you use the 25 or 40?
I have name changed btw, as I think it is appropriate.

ameliagrey · 30/05/2012 10:16

I use both TBH! Currently am using the spf 25, but previous was spf 40 simply because the 25 was out of stock.

I tend to go for the 25 simply because i have read that the sun screen is mainly zinc oxide which gives a physical barrier to the sun etc, and the spf 40 is a chemical block. The spf 25 is deffo thicker and I can see how some people might not get on with it, but I still use foundation over it, and don't find it mask like.

I use it every day winter-summer.

Pinkglow · 30/05/2012 10:54

I have the SPF 40 one and I use it as a primer. I really like it and the other day I got caught in the sun and I had forgotten the suncream, I was burnt on my chest and arms but my face was perfectly fine.

2ndtimeroundandfeelingclueless · 30/05/2012 13:31

I have rosacea too and use the SPF 40 version - have got on fine with it. I also use it after moisturising. I don't tend to wear foundation and I don't think you can tell I am wearing it.

AllRiseForHerVaj · 30/05/2012 15:09

Very heavy.

MrsRobertDuvallHasRosacea · 30/05/2012 15:12

Ok I bought the 40 today.
Will give it a go.
love your name Allrise.....

fragola · 30/05/2012 18:24

Ah, I used it instead of a moisturiser, maybe that was the problem...

MrsRobertDuvallHasRosacea · 30/05/2012 18:39

Clinique lady said you need maisturiser underneath .
