Boden returNs question...

My husband bought me a Cardigan in April, which to be honest, is just not my thing. It is the pink one with roses around the neck. I have never worn it and it still has all the labels attached. However, I can't find the invoice or packaging so can I still return it? I do have the order number etc sent by email.

TIA.

Give them a ring and see what they say.

I recently returned somethng that was over their 90 day return policy and they gave me a credit note.

I posted here about it and had a little moan, because it was JUST over the 90 days and still in stock- or rather sold out so I knew they would sell it easily.

They will refund cash- i think- if something is faulty or wears out quickly after 90 days, but otherwise it's a credit note.

They have just started- yesterday- offering refunds up to a year but can't see it applying restrospectively- just for new orders I assume.

I think I remember your original post amelia and on that basis contacted Boden to return a cardigan I'd bought nearly a year previously but had never worn. No problem and I got a credit on my account. I wasn't bothered by the credit really as I knew I'd spend it eventually but I wonder if it was because the item was originally a sale purchase. I think it might mention that in their Ts&Cs. I didn't need the original invoice but you can check your account history online and it'll give you the relevant details.

On a slightly sneaky note, I bought something else with the credit (and added to it). The new clothes were unsuitable so I sent them back and they've surprisingly credited the whole amount back to my bank account. I'm keeping quiet..... Wink

my item wasn't in the sale- it was the Santorini dress which is sold out- I noticed that when I returned it, it showed up as being available as low stock- and it's now sold out.

I will use the credit but in principle I was miffed especially as I have bought Boden for years and spend quite a lot

OP, do you still have an email confirming your order and / or delivery? That may be enough as proof of purchase. I've used that with other retailers in the past.

I'm sure Boden allow 3 months for returns do you should be fine.

Thanks everyone. I wrote a letter outlining my account number, date of order and order number, wrapped up the item and asked for an exchange.

Read the terms and conditions and nothing was stated about the initial invoice hence why I thought I would consult the wise women on here just to check. It even said you could return worn items!!!

Do you think that is what they punt out at their town hall sales/eBay?

amelia - I think that's really off of them ESP as you are a loyal customer.
