I'm a 10 everywhere, even an 8 on occasion, but have to take a 12 in Karen Millen.

Ahhhhh.........no boobs to speak of, but i do have a booty ,so think a KM fitted shift in size 8 might be slightly snug on my backside (I'm a 10 everywhere else like cointreau).... Not sch a bargain if doesnt fit.

Agree with others, KM sizing v small, esp on hips.

Size guide to major high street stores

I am a size 8 in most shops (maybe smaller in French Connection) and seriously have no boobs to speak of - a definite pear shaped body! In Karen Millen I vary, but would usually opt for a 10. If I was buying one of their satin dresses I would definitely go for a 10. I was having a look on ebay earlier too and saw a nice pink shift dress in an 8 but I didn't want to risk it. I find KM is usually quite good for me around the butt/thigh area but I struggle to do the top of the zips up and pull the dress together. No boobs but must have big ribs or something!

Coast is fairly generous. KM is quite small. I'm a perfect size 11 and go for a 10 in Coast and a 12 in KM.
