Holiday Dresses

I am looking to buy a summer dress for my holiday - can you lovely ladies help me.

Age - 40!!!!
Height - 5ft 9ins
Weight - 10st

My holiday is abroad with DP and DC, so what is "in" and what would suit me?

What size? body shape? Colours you like? Styles you favour?

i sent for a lovely one from Next and i would have kept it had i had good enough legs....legs shape is fine but they are milk bottle white!

mirpuppet I would say size 12, I like most colours but not orange, and I like shift dresses.

VIAT I like that dress, i think my legs are one of my better features.

im wishing i had kept it now....had a night out tonight and DD said i should wear it ( when i tried it on i wore a belt with it)

told dd i sent it back and she said i should have kept it as it looked really nice....

bugger.

i just have a thing about my blue white legs.....they are tan proof and fake tan always goes streaky on my legs, so i had returned it. i had planned to wear tights with it and then decided it was too summery for tights.
