Anyone found bf-friendly summer dresses?

If such a thing exists Grin

A google search led me to maternity dresses but I cant seem to find some nice BF dresses.

Any ideas of where to find some?

Thanks!

Ahh I have been scouring the WWW for these for ages.
DD2 is 12 months and I am still BF, though not so much during the day.

Brought this for her christening and managed to feed in it:
Pepperberry

Yesterday I wore a DP jersey maxi dress (b&w STRIPES) suitable for BF but I can't find it online now. Jersey dresses seem to be the way forward, and wrap dresses work really well - but there are so many faux wrap dresses around at the moment!! Not what I want.

Looks like I will mainly be wearing shirts & tops!

Nope, but looking forward to an answer to this too!

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 10:50

That one looks nice, shame I liked the "steel" one better but it's out of stock Grin I've found a couple only but didn't like them

Up to now both with DD and now DS I've been a two-top woman; vest underneath, any top and voila. But it seems I've been wearing the same clothes for 3 years now. The same style IYKWIM. Every time I see a dress I think "ah, if only".
MrsMicawber's suggestion is good, though, buying ANY dress with a crossover front and making it BF-friendly Grin
Off to look!

The £1.99 dresses from h&m are great for feeding in!

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 10:58

£1.99? Thanks chaosisawayoflife!

I'm on my phone, but will try to link to the dress. I have 5, and love them! www.hm.com/gb/product/96701?article=96701-C#article=96701-F

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 11:12

Posting these for others who may like them. I don't like the detail in the straps.

They're reduced MrsMicawber, used to be £12.99.

I have got this from Boden It has adjustable straps (with a button) at the back, so you can unbutton the strap and pull the dress down.

It is not a discreet way of feeding, but then the dress isn't a bf'ing dress. I also picked up a coral linen dress in Monsoon which crosses over at the front and which I can bf in, but it was cheap so I am guessing it was last years stock.

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 11:27

I like that one ILikeTo. Silly question but how do you unbutton the strap from the back?

I got one of those £1.99 dresses from H&M. I will never wear it - so not a bargain at all. Flimsy, bad shape, very short, very cheap fabric, unforgiving dress - just not nice.

OP I have brought a few large summery scarves for BF purposes too - it's helpful with less accommodating outfits.

HipHopOpotomus · 24/05/2012 11:43

Bon Prix But not such summery colours

works with camisole underneath or scarf

wrap dress

HipHopOpotomus · 24/05/2012 11:47

M&S

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 24/05/2012 12:46

The button is on inside of the back of the dress and the strap has button holes on it. Thinking about it, I'm not sure if you could unfasten it yourself, you may need help.

RichardCranium · 24/05/2012 12:49

H&M dress not many sizes left though.

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 13:04

HipHop, I can't find one I like. I'm not a fan of patterns. It might be because when I buy something I'm thinking I need it to go with most things I already have Grin

I liked the beige H&M dress but they don't have it on my size anymore.

ILikeTo, thanks. I tried putting my arm/hand as far as they went on my back thinking of the way you were unbuttoning it Grin. I found this one and I really liked a few others but are off my budget, unfortunately.

The search continues.

I've been trawling for months - admittedly the cheaper end of the 'market' but without much luck. I'm losing weight anyway so I'm getting by with what I've got & thinking of a big splash on whatever I want next summer.

Gauchita · 24/05/2012 16:40

A big splash sounds good HipHop Smile

I think I might have found one, and with 25% off atm as well What do you think ladies? Does it look like it can be pulled down enough? Here
