Like voile material? Like the following material, but less expensive:

Please help - I need to wear something whatever the weather, and it is hot :(

Have you tried linen or bamboo? Line certainly breathes very well even on hot nights. I still mourn the loss of a full length linen nightdress that gave up the ghost two years ago. White company beautiful sigh

Yes White company but ££££.

I bought some of their pyjamas in the sale about 4 years ago and they are still lovely. They are comfy and the cotton has stayed soft whereas all my other pairs dig in or have gone hard (yes incl. the Hush ones).

Recently I steeled myself and bought a light cotton nightie from there, it was nearly 40 pounds ££££ but I'm hoping it will last as long and I have worn it non-stop (it dries in a couple of hours so I really have worn it nearly every night).
