I know wearing white as a wedding guest shouldn't really be done, but could I get away with this?

Thanks!

bit too white...

picnicbasketcase · 23/05/2012 20:21

I would say too white, yes.

GnocchiNineDoors · 23/05/2012 20:21

Yes. Sorry.

I think it looks alright. My SIL wore a similar dress to my wedding... but she showed it to me first to ask if it was ok. I'd ask the bride and then you know for sure.

MerylStrop · 23/05/2012 20:25

depends:

  1. how you wear it and what with
2: what the bride's wearing

it looks clearly pink to me on the top half so with black shoes, and wrap maybe ok. I know fascinators are naff but a black one with this might be ok.

(don't like it much though, there are other dresses that shape that would be more flattering colours, this is a bit pale)

Yep

Why would you want to, it's stupidly inpractical - one splash of gravy, over priced and dull.

HandMadeTail · 23/05/2012 20:50

I'm with startail.

Ok I'll keep searching, I'll prob feel a bit self conscious in it anyway. I was drawn to the fact it is silk (wedding abroad) and is knee length. Thanks for all your views!
