Anyone tried those new (I think)eyeliner stickers from boots? Like a flicky 50s style shape as a sticker. Very strange concept but I'm intrigued.

No idea but intrigued .

Flicky eyeliner isn't that difficult though...

StellaAndFries · 22/05/2012 14:56

I've seen them advertised on FB bit haven't tried them yet.

CaptainHetty · 22/05/2012 14:57

Not tried them but also intrigued.

Just did a search and there are some eyeliner transfer type things on ebay (like a rub-on temp tattoo idea). Is that what you mean OP?

Review here

Saw these for the first time yesterday. They are very thick and I don't think you can reuse them like false eyelashes so they seem stupidly pricey (£6/7)

I do think however, that if people have trouble drawings straight lines with a liquid eyeliner then they won't have much luck with these stickers Grin

I've bought some to review for work blog, was going to try them this week so I will let you know what I think!

"I do think however, that if people have trouble drawings straight lines with a liquid eyeliner then they won't have much luck with these stickers"

Too true! It would be very hard to get them straight, surely? Confused

KatoPotato · 22/05/2012 17:03

I highly recommend eyeliner stencils, totally reusable too and easy to use with gel eyeliner!

madmomma · 22/05/2012 19:49

no I meant the stickers, but the stencils sound interesting too. Crap if you can't reuse them. I have funny eyes, and have never got on with liquid or gel eyeliner. As for flicks, I can never get the angle right.

I haven't tried them but I might have a go. I cannot do a perfect flicky line to save my life and I love them.

Although, as my lids are a bit saggy now it may just look like shit.

MadameMessy · 22/05/2012 23:58

they sound like a big swizz to me!
Try a youtube tutorial for those who can't do the flick. I wear liquid eyeliner every day and it's second nature now. Once you know, you just know.
Though I would liketo know more about the stencils. Sil seems incapable of drawing a thin line, though the shape is perfect, just fat

Empusa · 23/05/2012 00:04

I'm sure I remember my mum saying that she used to wear stick on eyeliner when she was young, so it's not a new thing

madmomma · 23/05/2012 22:09

madame which eyeliner do you rate, in case I feel like trying again?
