How to accessorise? Please help...

Hi,

I'm hoping some of you wise ladies can help. I have a hen night on Saturday for a friend from school, it starts at 3.30 (!!!) at a tea house and goes on through to the evening venue which is a nice bar/club. I had my daughter nearly 6 months ago and would like to look presentable for this night.

I asked the girl organising for a dress code and she said it would be dresses but I don't want to looked dolled up to the nines at 3 in the afternoon but also don't want to look out of place in the evening.

I have this dress which I love and would like to wear but can anyone suggest accessories which would make it day to evening...

I would steer clear of black accessories and go for bright colours, a funky necklace or scarf during the day and then add some bling in the evening with sparkly jewellery and killer heels.

Thanks, I was thinking a scarf... need to have a browse online for a cool one - any suggestions. I can always keep jewellery in my bag and grab it out at night...

Mango have some great scrves at the mo. Zara too but not so many that'd work with black.

Oh those are gorgeous - hmmmmm can I afford it?! I'll need to try and justify it to myself!!
