White eyebrows

Now tell me this. How many of you wear eyebrow pencil or dye your eyebrows?

I have never done either. But suddenly I have white hairs appearing. It's most disconcerting. I've just tried eyebrow pencil but I look so different with it on.

What would you recommend?

I have a bobbi brown eyebrow mascara type thing - dies the trick!

I've got some eyelash / eyebrow dye from Boots which I use. Only costs about £6 and lasts forever as you only need to use a small amount. I use it for eyebrows only. Even got my SIL into it and she thinks it's great too. Very easy to do yourself and really works well.

I bought By Terry pencil brush thing today but a bit scary.

Get thee to a beautician and get them tinted! I have been getting my eyebrows tinted and shaped for years, it makes all the difference and no faffing about with powders etc.....

I suppose my fear with dying is a) the cost and b) the potential colour disaster that could ensue. I do already gave them threaded.

Bearcat, how easy is it to choose a sensible colour for dying. I found it hard to find a good one in Space NK (picky)

Be wary of tinting- my friend had hers tinted and her ds( who notices nothing) burst out laughing when he caught sight of her.

That's just it anniewoo. I found that putting any eyebrow stuff on them made them really stand out.

The stuff I have from Boots is called 'Coloursport' Long lasting 30 day mascara eyelash & brow dye kit.
Yes, you look totally ridiculous whilst it's on, a bit like a 90 year old lady that has gone mad with the eyebrow pencil.
But use the timings they say, and you may (like my SIL) want to leave it on slightly longer once you get used to doing it. It really does define your eyebrows. It is so cheap to do it yourself, probably 50p a time (at most) rather than several pounds for it to be done in salon, and I have tried that too. It doesn't stain skin either once you wipe it off.
