Wedding Outfit Help!

I'm going to a wedding a week today and am planning on wearing this dress - www.mummylooksfab.co.uk/Sophia-Nursing-Dress. I have a pair on nude patent heels to go with it but am now wondering if I should get a jacket or cardigan to wear too.

What would you wonderful mumsnetters suggest. I don't have much of a budget but could probably stretch to about £30 or £40 if I can wear the jacket / cardigan with other things.

The other alternative is to wear a cream pashmina I wore with my wedding dress too.

Please help

LOVELY dress, a great colour. I think the pashmina would look a lot better than a jacket or cardie with that - handy for feeding too, surely?

What colour bag / jewelry do you have? TBH I'm wondering if pink, nude shoes and cream isn't a bit, um middle aged. Would you consider getting some coloured heels with the jacket budget? Would be beautiful and really jolly it up. maybe these, these or these? There are plenty about and that isn't the only colour that'd suit - just a quick example to see if you like the idea at all.

In any case, my vote is for the pashmina!

Well its meant to be nice next week Smile

Agree with MrsL - just stick with the pashmina which provides good coverage when bf too.

Thank you.

I have some fab chunky jewellery, lots of bangles and a nice big ring to wear with it, if I can rescue them from DD! I'm also having the dress shortened so it sits on my knee rather than below. lots of walking has paid off.

DD is 2 so discreet feeding is a thing of the past but still need to make sure her milk is accessible to calm her during the service and for sleep times through the day / night.

I'm loving the shoes though and having dug out my pashmina / scarf collection (I have a gorgeous dark blue and teal one which will go which I forgot I had) I may be bobbing out to get them anyway Wink

There's nothing quite like a hungry two year old. good plan Grin

Grand news on the pashmina front there. these shoes are beautiful but a wee bit over budget. maybe these?
