Argh! I miss the ginge!

So after dying my hair last Saturday using my usual Feria shade (Mango intense copper- permanent) i did something quite spontaneous yesterday, i applied a Boot's very light brown semi over it, as my roots were looking more orange rather than auburn. But instead of just applying the semi at my roots i just threw it all over. Anyway, it has of course 'dulled' my intense copper shade & now i miss it :(

I have washed my hair today with B4 colour, a stripping shampoo, but hasn't made a difference and i know i can use fairy washing up liquid and head & shoulders but i know its not going to take my hair back to the ginge! So now i may have to get another Feria Mango and re-do. Oh my poor hair, why do we put our hair through so much! I think this time though, to avoid orange roots, i may just avoid doing them.

i use the mango intense stuff, which is amazing, but i find it does the same to my roots and i end up horrifically florecent orange for a few washes!
HOWEVER, last time i did my hair i used a different feria... colour? aha. it was in a different style box, darker with shiny writing on the front, the colour of the hair of the girl looked the same but it was called....... failing pregnancy memory kicking in .... eurgh, i cant remember (when i do il let you know!) it was all over a bit brighter but not much, and my roots were the same colour as the rest of my hair.. YAY! aha.

also, can you dye your hair whilst pregnant? im currently 8 weeks and my roots are horrific but was worried about the chemicals?
hope this helps!

STOP!!!!!!

DO NOT USE A PERMANENT COLOUR!

it will go REALLY dark. You need to use a semi for about 4-5 weeks until the hair cuticle thingy (scientific) closes.

I learned this the hard way.
