Funeral wear... Help!

It's my granddad's funeral tomorrow. I have no idea what to wear. I only own one dress and it's knitted and itchy and I'm worried I'll be too hot. Here's the question. I have smart black trousers and a shirt... Will that be appropriate? With heeled boots? I normally wear jeans and converse every day and every job interview I've had has been in the summer so I have nothing suitable to wear. Starting to panic.

Sorry to hear about your Granddad. I think what you're suggesting sounds fine. Hope it all goes ok.

Sorry to hear about your Granddad. The last thing you want to be doing is worrying about what you are wearing. The trousers and shirt sound fine. So long as you look respectful. I would also run it past your mum or dad (depending who's father your granddad is) if you are worried.
Good luck tomorrow.

Sorry for your loss x

Wear anything as long as it's in sombre colours, pretty much anything goes these days at funerals - went to 4 last year!
