Is Loreal BB cream foundation or do i wear it under foundation - out of touch with make-up

i am posting a lot at present as have big wedding in June and am starting to get into a jam about it. I have another thread about an outfit (or lack of outfit) - feel able to read and comment.

I dont bother with make-up. I use tinted moisturiser and a mascara and slick of lip stuff - not heavy lipstick - more of a tube.

I bought the Loreal BB cream thinking it was foudation and could get used to using it for the wedding and have been doing so - it feels nice on.

I was out today with my gorgeous, stylish, friend (I do like her - she is great fun - but I am now feeling a bit useless as I realise how much I lack in style) We were talking about make up as we were in shops and she uses Liz Earle skincare and mostely Benefit make-up. I was telling her about the BB cream (it is in a red pump style bottle/tin) and she said I should be wearing foundation over BB Cream. Is she right? If so - any recommendations for nice foundation that isn't too heavy - I like a natural look. Thanks .Kate. I am beginning to think I need a complete overhaul - read other thread and you will understand.

Nope you wear it on its own, Especially if you like the natural look. To make it last all day at the wedding using a primer underneath is a good idea. Barbra daly tesco version is good.

I like the Liz Earle foundation, feels nice and light. And don't stress about the wedding, have a glass of bubbles and enjoy! With the greatest respect, most people will be looking at the bride anyway. And you can guarantee there will be some mad old aunt who looks frightful!

thanks - yes I will look into a primer - only primer i have used is when painting walls (well actually i havent used it but have heard the word used by those who paint).

thanks again for advice about chilling regarding the weddingl. I have had a good sleep and have now things in perspective. I am not the bride and there wiill be a lot of people there of varying shapes and sizes so I will get something and just enjoy it. Off to work now - no time to think about outfits or Primers today - thansk for help. Kate.

Hi Kate
Just a suggestion if you re
Going to wedding bb creme would be fine but maybe a little bronzer or blusher would help brighten it up and look more like goog out makeup as opposed to everyday make up.
Sali Hughes tutorials on utube are great,
Someone here recommended them and I find them fab. She likes expensive make up though and lots of different products but pick and choose the advice you use from her! Grin
