Here is your list. Stick to it. Love it, for it will be your salvation.

Well, your body's salvation anyway.

  1. 8 glasses of filtered water a day
  2. Exfoliate (everything...within reason)
  3. Use teeth whitener
  4. Use anti-aging face cream
  5. Intensive nail care (feet and hands)
  6. Use eyelash growth serum OR eye cream
  7. The Shred / other intensive exercise
  8. At least 2 extra fruit & veg every day
  9. Healthy breakfast daily
10. Use hair oil (moroccan hair oil for eg, or kerastase etc) 11. No alcohol during the week & no boozing it up on weekends 12. Take vitamins every day 13. Body brushing 14. At least 2 servings of salmon or other fatty fish per week. 15. One early night once a week. Suggest 9PM. 16. Regular hair removal 17. Give up one naughty favourite item e.g. chocolate/crisps 18. No more fizzy drinks 19. DAILY body moisturising 20. Warm water with lemon first thing in the a.m.

All the hard work has been done for you. This list was carefully crafted in the course of 2 previous threads and hundreds of posts by women determined to make the most of what they've got.

Thank you to BlackSwan for starting the previous thread. Lots of people, including myself, have fallen off of the wagon, so here is a new thread for a new start. 2012 is the year we do all the pampering that we have been meaning to do, but haven't got around to because everyone else, including the postman, seems to come first!

I love peppermint tea, or fresh mint. I'm trying to cut down on normal tea because I think it is starting to stain my teeth. Whitening toothpaste can only do so much, I need to help it out.

I did Jillian Michaels' Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism today. I had sooo many breaks and felt like I was going to collapse, but now I feel great. After I had a nice bath, did a face mask and moisturised all over. This list really does help.

Retinol eye mask last night. Cleansing mask tonight.

I did my nails last night about an hour before bed & though they were dry when I got to bed by the time I woke up they looked all scuffed! When am I meant to do my nails!? I bought a great colour today, a nude, perfect for my skin tone - have been looking for the right colour for ever it seems. Finally found it and I can't wear it!

I'm joining please!!!! Will start tomorrow - more details on aspirin face mask although I remember seeing something on YouTube about this....will look up in morning!

I currently have coconut and olive oil in my hair, am fully waxed and have olive oil on face

That's it though! Will be good tomorrow! Back to the gym after 3 day laze!

KateSpade · 28/05/2012 20:34

I'm joining - again! I've been trying my best, since i first saw a princess thread, since then i have had a baby.
My main goals are: -

Loose weight. 30 Day shred is actually quite good + 1,000,000 squats & tummy exercises. Ive been thinking of getting a shake weight for my arms, does anyone have one?

I drink 2-3 litres of water (sugar free vimto) every day, + blanx teeth whitener.
Fake tan & exfoliate regularly. Best i've ever tried is just a fake tan mit. Body care about £1.50.
I've been practising eyeshadow so i can be amazing, & i always have worn fake eyelashes everyday anyway.
I have Extentions in my hair, so they look fab!

I Just need to loose 3 stone now!

I WILL BE SKINNY!

Fourlegged · 29/05/2012 21:06

I have to lose 3 stone too!!!!!!! 1 stone gone so far - no longer embarrassed to leave the house ;)

Applied olive oil all over and head massage and facial and went for an intense pedicure today too

Forgot about eyelash serum (forgot where it is) and lemon hot water too............

Exercise from tomOrrow as baby kept me asleep until 2pm!!!! And no car today too.

Right off to bed (9pm rule is not tonight grrr MN did sending me to bed past 1am)!!!

KateSpade · 29/05/2012 22:11

its actually doing my head in now. I am one of those people that looks at something unhealthy and puts on 7bls.

But i really need to loose this weight before september, so starting from tomorrow i am going to increase my exercise to 30 mins running + 30 day shred.

I love peppermint tea, or fresh mint. I'm trying to cut down on normal tea because I think it is starting to stain my teeth.

Does peppermint tea not stain teeth? Are there any other teas that don't stain teeth also? Would love to get my teeth whitened, but need to find a replacement for tea, that doesn't stain teeth.

newbiebaby · 27/07/2012 16:58

What do I do with hair oil? Before/after shampoo and conditioner? How long for? What results to you get?
Sorry for the twenty questionsBlush
Thanks

newbiebaby · 29/07/2012 09:08

Can Anyone help me with the hair oil thing???Smile

waitingforgodot · 29/07/2012 09:21

I bought some moroccan hair oil. I apply it after washing my hair when its still slightly wet but not soaking.

ujjayi · 29/07/2012 09:24

GemmaPomPom - if you make a tisane rather than use a tea bag, then peppermint won't stain your teeth. It's so simple: a sprig of peppermint in boiling water, leave to infuse for 5 minutes and drink :)

GemmaPomPom · 29/07/2012 09:25

ujjayi, dumb question, but are mint and peppermint the same thing?

ujjayi · 29/07/2012 09:27

newbiebaby I use Kerastase Elixir Ultime hair oil in the following ways:

Either:
Before shampooing as a pre-treatment
Before blowdrying (although I have been leaving hair to dry naturally for the last 7 weeks and it is so much better for it)
Between washes if your hair looks dry at the ends (massage through mid-lengths to tip)
To prevent sun damage (massage into hair and twist your hair into a tight bun - if long enough). I have been doing this all week through the gorgeous weather we are having. The result has been shiny, bouncy curls when I've let it down in the evening :)

iamstitch · 29/07/2012 09:32

Ohhhh I know I'm a little behind but I'm joining you all! Grin bit of a hectic life and don't look after myself as I should but this will be the kick that I need!

laudinum · 29/07/2012 09:33

The eyelash growth serum - do you put it on the inner bit or just paint it on the lash roots?

And is sparkling water off the list?

iamstitch · 29/07/2012 09:33

Just flicking through and the thing i find with Moroccan hair oil is that it makes your hair a different shade over time. I have blond hair and use the light oil but it still happens?!!! Confused

ujjayi · 29/07/2012 09:34

GemmaPomPom not a dumb question :) They are the same family but different aromas/tastes. Peppermint is sharper and more citrus than regular mint but you can use either.

Another plant which make an excellent tisane is Melissa (also known as Lemon Balm). Beautiful flavour which is helpful for skin issues particularly cold sores and shingles, and is also emotionally nurturing (in aromatherapy circles it is known as a maternal oil).

I grow a lot of herbs and flowers in my garden for use in the kitchen and the bath and ensure that I never use any chemicals or pesticides (other than natural ones).

One of my favourite treats at this time of year is to put sprigs of lavender in a muslin bag (or even just a tea towel) and wrap around the tap of the bath so that when you run the water it releases the essential oils of the plant and scents your bath. Alternatively, if you have awkward shaped taps just place the bag of lavender in the bath itself and let the water run onto it.

GemmaPomPom · 29/07/2012 09:47

Thanks ujjayi, I'll look out for some Peppermint seeds.

Does anybody have any tips for sticking to a routine?

newbiebaby · 29/07/2012 13:07

Thanks for the oil tips...off to shops...

waitingforgodot · 29/07/2012 15:38

iamstitch-I have the organic argan oil. Do you find it lightens your hair?
