Teeth Whitening toothpastes?

Hi, can anyone recommend a good one? My teeth are quite stained (yes I am a smoker) and a nasty pale brown colour and I really need to do something about it.

I know the dentist is the best thing but cant really afford it at the mo so any recommendations would be gratefully received.

I've recently been using the White-glo toothpaste which I discovered through my Carmine box. They sell it at Boots & last time I went it was 3 for 2. I think it's made my teeth whiter. Search on the net for Crest White-strips too. I used them for my wedding and they did work.

i love pearl drops. they keep mine lovely and sparkly.

Also, rinsing with the Listerine 'stay white' (mouthwash) or whatever it is called after brushing helps a bit. You can get mini bottles of this in Boots for about £1.

...so, you know, do both!
