Hi there :-)

I have bought a dress to wear at 2 evening do's coming up (weddings). I am a size 20-22 and dress is perfect. However, I need to wear something to cover my arms and am failing miserably to find ANYTHING. I bought a bag to go with the dress in pale gold so was looking for a shrug type thing, but tbh i'm a bit clueless.

The dress is this one www.monsoon.co.uk/claire-maxi-dress/invt/15347984/ and the bag is this one www.monsoon.co.uk/hemsley-clutch/invt/14326894/

I'm hoping some of you lovely people might be able to suggest a few items....

ty in advance

this from Next?

Although it might be a bit too fitted for a maxi. I'll keep looking

FebreezeYourJeans · 14/05/2012 22:05

Debenhams?

supadupapupascupa · 14/05/2012 22:06

do you know what - i did look at that today! i only discounted it because it's silver and i am a warm colouring....but now you've got me thinking.......

ooh ohh ooh i KNEW someone would find one lol that debenhams one looks GREAT!

also Debenhams

I quite like this one because it's short, the dress is quite high waisted and anything too long might mean that the dress loses any shape.

FebreezeYourJeans · 14/05/2012 22:09

Oh I am glad there's something there you like. But the important question is..... What shoes???

supadupapupascupa · 14/05/2012 22:20

aaah good point about the short one! that one looks better i think.

Now shoes.... I have wide feet and have just had a baby so i'm not ready for heels (boooooo) so i've ordered these....

not my first choice but they look comfy and you won't see my feet in the dress anyway

plus i'll get loads of wear out of them this summer....

I really like the second cardigan Febreeze linked, much nicer than the first.

supadupapupascupa · 14/05/2012 22:29
